Note from Jay
On November 1st, 2014 I am joining forces with the folks at Tabor View Health and Wellness.
As many of you know, it has been a long term goal of mine to find the right group wellness practitioners to join in a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare. As of November 1st, I will be doing just that. I am incredibly excited to start this new chapter in my professional career.
Tabor View Health and Wellness is a collection of practices including acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, esthetician services, a mental health therapist, and massage all occupy this space and have interest in working together in a common goal of quality patient care.
It is located on SE Stark street at the intersection of SE 60th (6018 SE Stark Street). Off-street parking can be commonly found on SE 61st south of SE Stark St. Park where you can and you may wanna give yourself an extra few minutes to find parking. I have driven through there at varying times of the day and have found that there have been many open spots on SE 61st.
I will be taking appointments at the Gift of Life Clinic until October 31st, and then will take my first appointment at Tabor View Health and Wellness on Monday November 3rd. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Jay uses relaxation techniques to calm the muscles. Painless, effective, and I feel recharged after.
I’ve been seeing Jay for about 6 years, initially for a frozen shoulder, which he definitely helped release. Now I am not suffering any special conditions, but Jay is so sensitive to what my body is telling him that I have a different treatment every time and always leave feeling like my body is a unified happy mass.
I’ve had tendinitis in my right arm for close to a year now, and I finally gave myself a gift and went in to see Jay. I’ve only had one appointment with him so far and I already see improvement! He totally knows what he is doing.
I have been seeing Jay for his excellent care for over 10 years. He is always evolving as a massage therapist, perfecting his technique, learning new ones and tailoring treatment to your needs. Not only does he provide top notch body work, his stories and conversation are equally as good. Between the great massage and conversation the hour, sadly, flies by too quickly. Book an appointment today!
Jay has helped me to ferret out some long term complex structural issues. His curiosity and creativity have been tested by these issues but they have met their match and are on the run! Thanks Jay, for the great work!
Jay is a trusted ally and I highly recommend him if you want improve your body’s ability to move & handle stress. I’ve seen Jay for preoperative care for spinal fusion surgery & shoulder surgery. I believe that Jay’s approach has increased range of motion and minimized recover time & pain for both. Both surgeons were impressed. Other bodywork with Jay? Plenty with low back issues for 20+ years complicated by injuries from car accidents. With Jay’s help, I am more active and have much less pain!
Just when I think a chronic pain will forever be with me, Jay works his magic and its gone. No two sessions are ever the same. He’s a thinking-person’s LMT.
We call him “McMasterhands” in our house as both my partner & I are clients…His work is conscientious, therapeutic and thorough. I really appreciate his grounded and humor filled approach…Jay is the best!
I have been a client for several years and appreciate jay’s compassion, ability and humor to get me through life…I would highly recommend him to address any needs you have in a very caring and professional manner. He is the best in my book!
Jay was great. Reviewed my case, carefully chose how to approach it, and went to work gently but firmly, informing me of what he was doing at every step. Exactly what I needed. Thanks!
